Overview

Following the Art Deco style, this pied-à-terre built in 1930 rises above Central Park connecting the rich history of the site with the contemporary needs of the owners. Working in collaboration with Atelier Armbruster, the interior plan was developed to "create a sense of continuity between the original architecture and the updated interior".

Engaging with the Art Deco-era vernacular, geometric forms and sophisticated materials are curated into complex yet sensitive vignettes, creating an intimate and functional spaces throughout the home.‍ Spaces became fluid, moving between well-connected zones to create an open sense yet allowing each environment to nod to history.
