Jennie Gruss is a Seattle-based interior designer known for creating luxurious, deeply personal spaces that feel timeless, authentic, and considered. Since founding her studio in 2009, she has developed a practice rooted in a belief that the most successful interiors are a reflection of the people who inhabit them—how they live, what they value, and what they bring into their homes.

Jennie’s approach is inherently collaborative. She brings genuine curiosity and an instinctive understanding of people to each project, listening closely to how her clients live and translating those insights into spaces that are as comfortable and functional as they are beautiful. Her relationships often extend beyond the design process, built on discretion, trust, and an enduring sense of connection.

Influenced by a childhood spent traveling extensively with her parents, as well as years living in New York City and abroad, Jennie brings a global perspective to her work. Her eye is informed by architecture, art, craftsmanship, and the collected quality of a life well lived. She approaches sustainability through longevity—favoring exceptional craftsmanship, enduring materials, vintage pieces, and objects with a sense of history, while championing emerging talent and local artisans.

Beyond the studio, Jennie is deeply connected to her community. She lends her design expertise to organizations and events including Feast on the Farm, fostering dogs for local rescues, and previously served as a mentor at Seattle Girls’ School.
