Jennie Gruss Interior Design Inc. is a full service residential and commercial Interior Design firm based in Seattle, WA. Since opening its doors in 2009, JGID has built a reputation crafting modern yet intimate environments that are tailored to each client.
Highly influenced by her background in photography, art history and years spent living in NYC and traveling the globe, Principal Jennie Gruss has a hand in each project, creating balanced, clean spaces that layer light, texture and color.
After receiving her Master's of Science in Interior Design from NYC's Pratt Institute in 2006, Jennie launched her career designing for two leading NYC firms, Dennis Wedlick Architect and Selldorf Architects. During this time, she completed projects of varied scale and type, many of which have been featured in Elle Decor, Metropolitan Home and Hampton's Cottages and Gardens.
Jennie places great value on giving back to the community in which she lives. She has designed for fundraising events, including Feast on the Farm and Thaw and is a mentor at the Seattle Girl's School. As an avid supporter of the Seattle art and design community, Jennie prioritizes sourcing from emerging talent or working with local artisans on custom pieces.
